It is true, that by remembering Allah subhaanahu wa taala (dzikrullah) will help us calm and peaceful. But I also do believe that the intuition too, was given by Allah taala. I strongly believe that it was given for a reason.
For people like me, who has not enough qualification to define the meaning of intuition, I just can’t do anything but saying ayatul kursi, and dzikrullah. Also by leaving everything in Allah’s Wisdom, and trusting that Allah will lead my intuition into the good things, will make me becomes more sensitive to my own feelings. Makes me never ignore my senses.
Sometimes when we want something so bad, we got blinded. Thinking that we know what we want also will lead us to thinking that we are sure that what we want is best for us. While only Allah knows what is best for us, and what we want may give us troubles in the future.
That’s why I never ignore my intuitions. I believe that by not ignoring them helps me to reflect and re-think about what I want. Surely, Allah is The Most Wise.
“Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah. for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction.” (QS 13 : 28)
“... you may hate a thing although it is good for you, and love a thing although it is bad for you. God knows, but you do not know.” (QS 2 : 216)
Dear God, please give us the power to surrender in every decisions that you have made and will make for us. For You Are The Most Wise, and You know exactly what we need to experience in this short life to become better day by day. Amin..
