The Cursing Muslim Blogger

I went blog walking this morning. Reading posts from random blogs, leaving comments (hoping that they will visit me back to my blog :lol:). And I couldn’t help it, some blogs saddened me. Some muslim and muslima cursing and cursing with no embarassment. I don’t know what points are they trying to make. 😥

I will not sorry for saying this. But the term : moderate muslim had been taken away too far. What is moderate muslim anyway? Muslims who follow sunna and stay away from sinful behaviour is not moderate? Muslims who tolerate sins are?

Well, excuse me, muslims are just muslims. Muslims behaviour towards Islam is like a blind man with his cane. A blind man can’t walk properly without his cane, a muslim can’t live properly without Islam. Muslims must be fanatics towards Islam. Muslims must follow sunna the best way they can. Nope, don’t be mistaken.

That’s right, people. Don’t be misguided. A man who controls his tongue, his steps, his gaze… is never an extremist. A man who follows The Prophet Muhammad will never be an extremist. Don’t let people make you believe that being a fanatic is bad! Whose example should we follow other than Rasulullah? Which guidance should we consider for our life if not Islam? How can WE as muslims not be fanatics towards our religion? How can a person who makes Islam looks stupid be moderate?! MODERATE how?

As I said, do not make islam looks stupid. Watch your words. If you are a muslim blogger, remember, people will judge Islam by your posts, your words. STOP CURSING! F-word, B-word, S-word must be censored. “But that’s how people talk nowadays…” Which people? Ask yourself, don’t you have the ability to make your point without cursing? Do you really want to take your muslim pride that low? How would you feel when a non muslim read your blog and begins to generalized other innocent muslims (from cursing) for your un-sensible behaviour?? Yes, sisters and brothers, wether we like it or not, Islam IS judged by what Muslims do.

Yes, you probably say, “we can’t control what other people’s think”. No, we can’t. But we can control ourselves. We can control what we type. How can we treat Allah subhana wa taala, who has been Forgiving, Loving, and Merciful, as a powerless King for the internet? Would you be that selfish, to let Islam and all muslims in trial for your words?

Too sad, to see a facility that has the power to help Islam grows is used to make Islam looks stupid and low. Please, don’t misunderstand me. I only post this because I’m trying to love Allah the best way I can.  And I love my brothers and sisters in Islam. Please stop cursing, if you can’t stop cursing, stop blogging for a while, or don’t use your muslim identity for your blog.
